The Canadian Gerontology Association (CAG) is Canada's leading multi-disciplinary organization for those who work with or on behalf of the country's aging population. The CAG is a national, bilingual organization with a membership of over 1,600 individuals and organizations from across Canada.
The CAG's mission is to promote the health and well-being of seniors through gerontological research, education, and advocacy. The Association does this by working collaboratively with its members and other stakeholders to identify issues and needs of seniors, and by developing and delivering programs and services that respond to these needs.
The CAG is also dedicated to the professional development of its members by providing opportunities for networking, education, and training.
Some of the programs and services offered by the CAG include:
– The Gerontological Research Journal, a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research papers on all aspects of aging.
– The CAG Annual Conference, a national conference that brings together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to discuss the latest advances in gerontology.
– The National Seniors' Health Week campaign, which raises awareness about the health needs and concerns of seniors across Canada.
– The Seniors' Information and Referral Service, a toll-free service that provides seniors and their families with information on issues related to aging.
CAG provides seniors with the information and support they need to live healthy and active lives, and for those who work with seniors, professional development opportunities, the latest information and skills to address aging.
You have several options for sponsorship and exhibiting. Association sponsorship allows your company to both support a leading national organization with a very high profile and to make your products and/or services known to a wide range of potential customers.
Corporate membership is available to any corporation that is able to promote the goals and objectives of CAG.
This year's annual conference will be held in Toronto. More than 1,000 people (including more than 400 gerontologists) and 60 exhibitors are expected to attend.
The conference provides unique opportunities both to showcase their products/services and to receive feedback from key clients in this growing market sector.
The conference exhibition is the ideal place to showcase your products and services to a large audience of senior decision makers in the private and public sector. Held over two days prior to the conference, and with an average of 200 exhibitors and over 2,500 delegates in 2012, the exhibition is a must for any company wishing to do business in the water industry. Exhibit space will be provided free of charge to sponsors, and visitors will be able to tour your booth at their pleasure. Your company will also receive additional benefits through extensive marketing before and after the show.
Jet Casino in Canada is a sponsor of the Canadian Gerontological Association (CGA). We have joined forces to create an awareness campaign aimed at seniors.
The goal of the campaign is to provide seniors with information on how to gamble responsibly and protect themselves from the harms associated with problem gambling. CGA also wants to make sure seniors have access to information on where they can go for help if they have a gambling problem.
"We are very pleased to partner with the Canadian Gerontology Association on this important campaign," said Jet Casino's CEO. "Older adults are an important and growing market for our industry, and we want to provide them with the information they need to gamble responsibly."
The campaign will include a website, print materials and social media content. The website will provide seniors with information about gambling issues, how to gamble responsibly, and where they can go for help if they need it. You can Jet Casino in Australia. This site will soon have information on responsible gambling and support for seniors.
